One of the fundamental objectives of our mission is to work with the Museum to educate future generations and the public at large about the struggles and accomplishments of America’s cryptologists and cryptoanalysts. In addition to activities at the Museum tailored to students and visiting groups, the NCMF sponsors programs dealing with significant events in the history of cryptology, many of which were once classified. These educational programs are usually free and open to all.
Because one of the chief goals of the National Cryptologic Museum Foundation is to introduce the importance of cryptology to the next generation of Americans, we sponsor several awards for student scholarship.
